Q:What is the difference between the old Tasc Tutor and the new Chess Tutor?
A:We have explained these differences on a separate page
Q:Does the Tutor contain the same tasks as the workbooks for the Steps method?
A:The Tutor is of course based on the Steps method and the lessons follow the same general structure. But it consists almost totally of new tasks.
Q:Is the content of the download and the CD versions identical?
A:Yes, both versions have exactly the same content.
Q:Is there a network version for schools?
A:No, there is no network version. But we have heavily discounted volume licences for clubs and schools.
Q:Will the software one day be available for Mac OS X or other operating systems?
A:Since a large part of the Tutor team consists of Mac users, it is highly probable that this will happen one day. We cannot yet say anything more precise than that.
Q:If, for example, I change computers, can I get the licence code for the download version again?
A:Yes, simply send an email to our support team.
Q:Under which Windows operating systems can I use the software?
A:Chess Tutor Software is available for: Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 10.
